Is Lisa Bearnson Leaving QVC for HSN?

Read about the rumor HERE and HERE. The only comment I have so far, without personally seeing the HSN ad on the CK site, is that maybe CK doesn’t control and/or monitor specific ads that flash on their site. For instance, if you allow ads on your free website, blog or message board, my understanding is you can request that they pertain to a certain topic (in this case, crafts or scrapbooking) but you, the site owner, don’t get to approve the ads on a case by case basis. I assume ad placement is done by computers not humans, who wouldn’t know that it would be a big NO NO to put an HSN ad on the CK website…because it might start a rumor or sumthin’…
What do you think…could the rumor be true, and would you be glad or sad?
CK uses the Googlebot to generate those ads. My guess, it’s just a rumor…but we shall see…we shall see….
Not all ads are google bot generated, though. CK does sell a few ad spaces on their website, generally those are the large photo ads that are the paid advertising, and the big banner type ads across the top or down the side. I haven’t seen “the ad” yet either, but if it’s not a free google bot ad then I’d have to say it could lend credibility to the rumor of LB leaving QVC. But I’ve only ever bought a mondo pack of bazzill from QVC so there ya go…lol

Well, I just purchased a few things from HSN.com, and the Lisa & Becky rail system is available online through HSN now. So maybe that’s an indicator of more things to come?
Though I’ll admit to not being a big TV watcher, I have purchased on both the QVC and HSN websites…personally, I’ll follow whomever, wherever, as long as there’s a good deal!
or maybe just letting them advertise more on there…

I dropped the ball with the blog award you gave me, and I wanted to apologize. Life got crazy right around that time, and once things settled down it was kind of late in the game.
